Also I spose its not really Barrossa fruit. So hows a 97 R.W.T and a magnum of 97 Basket Press. Im still looking for a white. ...

A couple of midweek wines
A bit of rain here in Brisbane cooled things down enough to have a few reds. A bad midweek start with a 98 Cyril Henschke showing a muted nose and dull flavour profile, A completely buggered 93 pennies Kalimna both sink jobs. A 94 Graveyard showed a beautifull nose and subtle flavours. A good wine w...

It showed a quite savoury finish which hit the spot . There were quite a few notes taken so im sure we can expect a write up...

So, in desperation, I thought I would ask the people who might know about this wine bottle. The Wine Enthusiast. So I registered, logged on and asked away, only to get a smart-alec reply. This reply and replier can only enhance the opinion of some sections of the public as to the type of person who ...

AJ - Got plenty of room under the house but its all on a 15° slope. Consequently have had to lay about 60 bags of 20kg concrete to create a series of 30cm wide steps just to get this far. Modular stuff is thus very appealling. That thing looks nice though - if I ever get a house with a flat...

Re: Tahbilk article by JP
Two weeks ago I did a write-up on Tahbilk, which Ric kindly posted on his Torbwine website. Well you can read the professional one by Jeni Port in today's Epicure (in The Age) - that begins "Tahbilk's subtle changes blend with its history, writes Jeni Port." It's much better written and more inform...

I suspect at over $30 they clamp down a bit on restitution. I imagine for Grange they'd send a sales rep around... cheers, Graeme[/quote] I had a Yattarna replaced with out problem. A call from the winery a few questions re storage, flavour descriptions etc ,current vintage replacement in a few days...
