Couple of birthday drinks. 2004 Cullen Diana Madeline - still a touch of vanilla o the nose with dark berries. Tannins still present but mellows through the mouth. First one of these and quite enjoyed it. Still has a few years ahead of it IMO. 2010 Rockford Basket Press - I have quite a few of these...

I checked if Gavin stocks these (he doesn't), and was wondering if anyone has seen these anywhere in Adelaide? Would like to pick up a couple without the freight costs if possible..

1992 Rockford Homeblock Cabernet (Magnum) Picked this up at auction about 12 months ago so was a bit worried it may have been a dud. Cut the top off and the cork looked pristine from the top. Unfortunately, it broke in half as I pulled it out but the second half came out no worries.. Not a skerick o...

2009 Kellermeister Wild Witch - After I managed to lift the worlds heaviest bottle, this was consumed with an awesome lasagne.. Lots of black fruit and surprisingly mellow for a young Barossa Shiraz. I am sure the last one I had was a bit more gutsy, so this may be starting to develop a little quick...

It was Kellermeister.. Their premium wine is the Wild Witch.. Reading the story, they don't seem too perturbed by the loss calling it an "old" chardonnay vintage...

Day 2 of a 2011 Marius Simpatico and OMG, this is amazing! Massive dark fruit on the nose, elegant tannin and awesome length.. I bought a few '10, 11's and '12 of both the Simpatico and Symphony and this is the first time I have tasted them.. So glad I have jumped on the bandwagon!

Unfortunately I think the problem is that price is not reflective of the prices here in Aus (I am sure you are well aware of that though).. Greetings, I am finding I am really enjoying good quality Nebbiolo at the moment and would like to add a few Barolo's to my stash, however am not familiar at all with quality vineyards and particularly quality vintages.
