Yes, the Centenary was very similar to the one we had at Cafe Lyon ... good to know there wasn't much variation between bottles.

A very good match. Needs to be young and fruity. Mature VP's are best as contemplation wines (or cheese if one must).

Burges, Possibly wrong terminology, perhaps should have said "Potassium Metabisulphite, Sodium Metabisulphite" etc, which is to reduce bacterial spoilage etc, which can be a major issue when running a solera system ! was wondering if I should be aware of sulphur issues ... thanks for the ...

I think Rocket is very good for transport, service, food, private room..... would prefer Thursday or Friday night I’m in. Rocket of course is tried and tested, and by the sounds of it Cafe Lyon seems just as good – and fairly well located. I’ve never been there and wouldnâ€â...

Sam has made the booking so I assume it’s in his name. At 7pm for around 12 persons (unless he’s revised it down recently).
We’ll ask for the Pol Roger 2002 in case we get too thirsty and can’t wait to get started :)
