That's a bit or a hike for me but I may be able to make it, just depends on another precious commitment that may or may not be going ahead. So maybe call me 50/50 at this stage.

Jokes aside, I find that the various styles of Chardonnay go well with Indian food, different styles for different dishes.

Also Riesling.

Bit far for me but to keep Burges onside you could easily match a big curry with a big vintage port ;)

A very good match. Needs to be young and fruity. Mature VP's are best as contemplation wines (or cheese if one must).

How about a sparkling burgundy (SB) ? Went to a SB tasting at an Indian a few years back (about a dozen different SB's) and they went surprisingly well across a good range of curries.

Sorry guys, I won't be able to make to this tasting. Company called and I must work on the 15th Friday evening.

I am happy to make the bookings. 3 course meal for around 30 dollar per head, and one of best Indian restaurants out there.

Let me know gentlemen, this event should not be spoiled just because I cannot make it. Cheers

Can't speak for others, but happy to postpone this for a few weeks until you can make it. After all, it was your idea!

Cheers
