Agree with comments on the poor 2011 releases. Have bought a number of vintages in the past but the 2011 tasting in Sydney, whilst really well run, was a total let down. Couldn't find one wine in the line up that I considered buying. Went with a couple of seasoned YY drinkers and view was universal....

My Liebherr is going strong after 6 years and my Kitchener same after 8 years. Kitchener's insulation seems much better and the motor hardly runs for a lot of the year.

FWIW received the latest Hillcrest Vineyard newsletter and the 2009 Estate Pinot is being cleared out at $20/bottle. This would give the Hoddles ck a good run for its money. Well worth a look.

Wantirna is only open 2 days/year, this time around it's 11th and 18th October. May open up by appointment though.

Suggest you also head out to Pyrenees (Dalwhinnie) and Great Western (Best's, Seppelt). Makes for a great 2-3 days.
