I will be doing the same thing as well... Things we do for great champers At least the '07 can be enjoyed while waiting for the '02, '06 and '08
2010 St Hugo Coonawarra Cab Sav 2010 Majella Cab Sav Also looking to buy some 2010 Wynns JR but not yet purchased. Any other good Coonawarra Cab Savs to put away?

I'm told (but haven't tried one yet) the Majella is a decent one at a reasonable price. I grabbed a 6 pack, although I'm cutting right back on my Coonawarra buys as I'm not really into the style anymore. JH gives it a 96 for what it is worth.....
Cheers Ian
If you had to choose between drinking great wine or winning Lotto, which would you choose - Red or White?
I am leaning more toward the Margaret River cab blend style (and Yarra Valley as well) more than the Coonawarra straight Cab style, but it is nice to have variety in the cellar.

I bought a six pack of the Majella 2010 here in Singapore and have drunk all but 2 of them (as no point keeping them long-term in this climate!) ... drinking very well, but with great purity of fruit & balance... will age wonderfully IMHO.

I have no first hand experience in particular wines, but would expect Balnaves to be fairly good wines. Is Bellweather Coonawarra ?? If so that might be worth tracking down.

I would suggest looking at Brand's Laira as well
Cheers Andy
Agree. Brand Laira will have a bit more acidity and while it still is very Coonawarra, it doesn't lose itself in the typical Coonawarra Cab style...
One of my wifes relatives has a stack of grange in his cellar that he has no real interest in drinking.
I went there to buy a 90 & 91 and when I saw the entire mint condition boxed case of 1990 it didn't take long for me to give in and take it.
Still got the 1 bottle of 91 which was also mint and still wrapped, so 7 granges in one day is not a common occurrence. dying to knock 1 off tonight but the wife is pregnant and I don't think I could do an entire bottle myself.

Little bit miffed actually about him releasing a "super cuvee" from 2012 hence perhaps diverting the best fruit from the other labels which we had no notice of when buying them last year... but that didnt stop me buying a few of the Contrarian which I always think is the best VFM in the range.
Just went through Cellartracker and noticed my additional purchases for the month... Ouch!
