There is a Lindeman's 1940 Madeira floating around one of the auction houses. Think a bid of $200 still saw it passed in. Wonder if it's worth a punt or could be completely stuffed. I’ve been a fan of Cullen for 25 years now, probably one of my favourite Aussie Cab’s is the 1995 vintage and there’s been a few that I’ve really enjoyed. I’ve had the 1945 Grandfather 4 or 5 times, last time maybe 10 years ago.
Very enjoyable and variable, it’s a sweet Tawny not very complex and the spirit pokes out a bit.

Not worth the asking price but a great 80th next year.
