i stand them up initially so no wine leaks out then you can lay them back down once the cork has had to time to seal. Ive found no noticeable difference over 5 months in the wines that were stood up as i'd have a glass every month minimum to check its progress. If you were looking at taking a glass ...

Generally i find it can vary between wines, the older the bottle the quicker it is to oxidise. 1998 & 2002's i opened lasted 8 weeks. Its gradual but if you use the coravin regularly you can pick up that the bottle is beginning to oxidise. It was at about 6 weeks i began to notice the older bott...
