Re: Brisbane Offline - Sunday 29 August

Apart from the border restrictions, this is sounding great thanks Michael. Put me down for a 2001 Signature, or I could do the 08 Meschach if you don't go that way.

Hi all,
I'm keen if it's the 29th or 30th. Miskin with Outstandings sounds good.

3 x 2014 Pooley's Butchers Hill.

Had a back vintage of this at an off line last year and been waiting for an excuse to get some. Excuse found. Purchase made.

Nice one rens. Online purchase or sourced locally?

Re: Melbourne Offline / 19 August / Coonawarra vs. Margaret River

There was a good email from Wynns during the week with EOFY deals as well as suggesting they could help with other vintages that were lacking from your cellar. I emailed back saying that I just didn't have enough of the '54 Cabernet, but haven't got a positive response yet ... haha Put me down for ...

Thanks for the notes Michael and thanks to all the attendees for a great night.

Sadly I can't take credit for the 2004 O'Shea. Can anyone remember who's that was?

Thanks Luke!

I'm still keen with a +1. And since I haven't mentioned anything about the wines, I could certainly do the paper bag thing.

Re: Brisbane offline 13th February?

Hi Luke,

The planets finally align for myself and the +1 next weekend in Brisbane. It would be nice to me some more of you guys.

A non specific ready to drink theme sounds pretty good to me.

Cheers,
Jarrod

Re: BEER: suggestions for summer (or NOW)

I tend to drink more of the American IPAs. Sierra Nevada in particular..lovely use of american hops. So much citrusy grapefruity bitter goodness! Their Pale Ale can be found for around $20 a 6pk and is perfect for summer drinking +1 for the Sierra Nevada Pale (and their others if you can find them)...

Re: Tasmanian Winery Recommendations

Hi Dan,

New to the forum but have spent a bit of time in southern Tasmania. Stefano Lubiana is my must-visit and has never disappointed. Also enjoyed a visit to Pooley Wines this year and some Domaine A cab (and Pinot) while in the area.

Cheers,
