Good comment Brian, it reminds me of Donald Horne's comment when he said something along the lines of, "Mateship is bullshit, everyone is really keeping an eye on what the others are doing."
Making sure they are always in a position to cut down the tall poppies, if you will.

- hmmm i wonder what those mitchelin stars really mean to the French...or to the chef who got awarded the stars
It's an interesting view point though.
