Time to organise the third Brisbane Wine Club dinner. Craig was going to do it, but he's too caught up in buying a house or some other such triviality

Miro's has been mentioned as a possible venue, but since I don't like the place (based on one visit only, mind you), I have another suggestion. Details as follows:
Venue: Caravanserai (1 Dornoch Tce, West End). Turkish cuisine.
Theme: Bring something good (>= $30 rrp). Such a broad theme would, methinks, go well with the wide variety of food presented at a Caravanserai banquet.
Date: 26/5/06
Time: TBA
Cost will probably be around $45/pp for a 3 or 4 course banquet (involving a bunch of shared dishes), including corkage.
Glassware sucks (it does at Miro's, too), so I'd recommend to BYO.
Bubbles, reds, whites, and stickies are all welcome. Strictly one bottle + one backup per person. Backup should be kept hidden from the table unless needed. People brought more than this to the first dinner, and there was a great deal of (heartbreaking) wastage. I understand everyone's desire to show off and share as much good wine as possible, but rather than everyone bringing too much wine to each BWC meeting, I'd rather just have more meetings

Meetings will happen strictly on the 4th Thursday or Friday of each month hereafter (I include Thursday, only because one of my favourite restaurants won't accomodate a party of our size on Friday or Saturday). It's important to maintain regularity so that people can plan accordingly. I apologise for letting this slide.
Let us all know what you think, if you're coming, and what you're bringing.
