Am going to Orange for a weekend and would like some hints on the best wineries to visit while there.
The only one I know a little about is Canobolis-Smith. Any information about wineries and their wines would be greatly appreciated.

I was in Orange for Christmas with family but didn't get a chance to visit any wineries
. So, I'm interested to hear what you find.
If you have the chance, you should visit my Aunty's store, Hawkes General Store (Sale Street, 46 I think). Great stop with amazing kitchen wares, wine glasses and decanters, fresh coffee and general gift ideas. Also, for a top quality meal, my Cousin's restaurant, Lolli Rodini's (was awarded a Hat 2004) is right next door. She does a great lunch and has an interesting wine list with many local wines available.
Sorry for the plug, but they are both well worth the visit.
