Riedel Glasses at Wirra Wirra

Post by Deano »

I dropped into Wirra cellar door yesterday for 2 reasons; to see their new enlarged river red gum service/customer room and to pick up a couple bottles of MV 2002 Shiraz. Before i even made it into the CD, i could see customers sampling their tastings from Riedel glasses. I was amased as this was a first for me at a CD. I tried most wines and was lured back to one of my favorites...MV Shiraz 02. Great wine, even better CD and now great glasses to get the most out of your samples. Having spoken to one of the cellar hands, the glasses are restaurant-grade, but i was impressed and apparently the feedback has been extremely positive for WW.
Cheers
