Riesling, Semillon and Marsanne are my faves. I know Riesling goes well with seafood, from experience. What food/foods do you feel goes best with the other two.

Funny you should ask that Mike. A couple of weeks ago Turkey Flat Marsanne Semillon 02 was perfect with medium Endeavour prawns, marinated with crushed garlic, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil, grilled en brochette. Cullen Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 02 was perfect with Blue Swimmer Crab au naturel.

As young varietals they're all good with seafood, a young unoaked semillon probably best with fresh oysters. Marsanne matches well with chicken and/or caesar salad.

I enjoy aged marsanne or semillon with a creamy brie, lightly roasted blanched almonds and slices of peeled granny smith apple sprinkled with lemon juice.

Cheers
