A trip to ACT, Orange and Hunter Valley wineries

Post by Waiters Friend »

G'day

Regrettably, this post is not for me, but for a friend who be visiting these three wine regions shortly. He is well-educated in the wine sense (WSET Diploma) so knows his stuff and has more than the average level of interest.

He is seeking recommendations for wineries to visit in each of these regions, so I thought I would come to the Oracle- the Auswine membership. I imagine wineries where he could have more than ther standard cellar door experience would be a bonus.

He os also looking for dining recommendation, but I suspect the wines will come first, so winery restaurants would work too.

Many thanks

Allan
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

Collector Wines is opening a new cellar door in the very near future. Great wines and a pretty little town.

I gather Printhie have the best restaurant in the Orange region. I visited CD earlier this year; WSET Diploma lady behind the counter. What with my note-taking sheet we got on like a house on fire!
