G'day
My first bottle from what is an annual six-pack buy.
Moderate yellow in colour, and a little darker than expected. Quite a rich nose with citrus, white peaches, vanilla, and savoury oak. The palate is also one that I would sip rather than slurp, as the flavours are reasonbaly intense across the tongue - more peaches, savoury notes, cashew, a citrus tang and a degree of grippy creamy mouthfeel. A reasonably long finish.
I usually find these to be slightly more citrus than stonefruit - this wine not so much and maybe that is a reflection of the vintage. Regardless, it's a balance that I enjoy and I suspect this will age well in the medium term.
Cheers
Allan

I love that they haven't mucked around with the label over the years. Thanks for the note.

I had this late last year, and was impressed. Good fruit with deft winemaking.
Life is too short to drink rubbish wine.
