TN: John Kosovich Reserve Cabernet Malbec 2013

Post by Waiters Friend »

G’day

John Kosovich is a long-established Swan Valley winery. The grapes for this wine, however, came from a vineyard in Pemberton.

Purple/black in colour. A lifted nose with violets, blackberry, blueberry, tobacco, graphite, and spicy oak.

The palate shows some redcurrant alongside the darker fruits. There’s noticeable but soft acid flowing through, and tannins are almost completely integrated. Medium to full bodied and medium length.

Possibly not likely to improve much more, but also not likely to fall over soon. Good wine.

Cheers
Allan
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
