TN: Seppelts Mount Ida Shiraz 2017

Post by Waiters Friend »

G'day

Crimson colour and ruby at the rim. A reasonably perfumed and polished nose, with red plums, cloves, vanilla, a little polished Chesterfield, raspberry and rose petal. The palate is flavourful, with blueberries alongide the bright red berry fruits. Tannins are fine and quite well integrated, and provide modest grip. Acid is noticeable without being sharp, and the wine finishes reasonably long while showing some restraint and elegance. Medium to full bodied.

Plenty of time left for these.

Cheers
Allan
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

Thanks Allan have this and the St Peter's.
I have never been enamoured with the vintage, but can't recall whether I got these cheap. Will need to look at one.
Cheers Craig
Tomorrow will be a good day
