Exciting times! I didnt write in this year as my fridge is full and the wife banned me from buying till next year-ish

I also don’t know if I have the 20 years of patience to cellar them also!

Urgent! I’ve bought an Australia Post express envelope and it asks the traditional place name.

Does anyone know the aboriginal name for Wendouree?

Got my letter today advising insufficient stock to offer me an allocation. I’m still enamoured that they take the time to hand write a pleasant response and update. What a nice touch ! They must spend forever writing hundreds of those out !

It is definitely exciting to see the AP Birks letter in your letterbox !

Seriously? Surely you would just address it to Clare, as usual

I was taking the Micky! Firstly, at those who send the order form back registered & express post. And secondly at Australia Post’s offering of a tribal place naming option.

Sydneysider here, received letter last night 8/7/25. I posted out with normal mail today before mailman pick up time. Likely to be received by mid next week. I will hassle Mrs Brady to check if order form received. Mrs Brady mentioned 24b Shiraz is short supply this year as well. I mentioned that I missed out last year and keen to try some. Fingers crossed.

Yes same. Big hit. The extra wines take it over 3K for 6 of all.

They liked the 24B, as its only second vintage and hard to benchmark, so probably a high score 96-97 for potential. The rest in the low 90s.

Probably a reflection of a challenging vintage.
Anyhow, as many have said previously, scores are irrelevant for Wendouree.

Not all reviewed yet.

Shiraz and 24B scored well. Shiraz seems it’s usual and 24B has an x-factor.

Cab, Cab Malbec and Malbec scored early 90’s. The actual reviews read well and the wines sound good.

Shiraz blends to come.

Credit Card hit yesterday for what looks like the full amount.
3 of everything and 6 Cab Malbec.
Red Crayon NSW
Missed out on 24b last year.
If you had to choose between drinking great wine or winning Lotto, which would you choose - Red or White?
