TN: Arlewood Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

G'day

From a cooler year in Margaret River, and this is showing the characteristics of that vintage. Ruby colour. There's the expected blackcurrant and cedary oak on the nose, and this is accompanied by capsicum, tobacco, leather and dried herbs. The palate shows riper dark fruit towards the back palate, with more capsicum and herbs. Tannins are dusty and the acid is prominent without being sharp. Reasonable length, but I wouldn't see it improving with more time - drink now.

Cheers

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
