The full label is Oakridge Vineyard Series Henk Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2017. Henk is the owner of the vineyard in question, in Woori Yallock. 100% whole berry fermentation followed by 10 months in French oak.
Garnet in colour and very clear and bright in the glass. Developed strawberry and dark / liqueur cherries on the fragrant nose,with modest but observable cedary oak in support. The palate is lightly fruited and gentle, with a juicy acid backbone and only slightly grippy fine tannins. Medium length and a soft finish.
Unlikely to improve in my opinion, but in pretty good place now.
