G'day
Yellow colour with gold tinges. Complex nose with yellow peach, nectarine, white flowers and some savoury and lanolin notes.
The palate shows more of those stone fruits, with subtle oak and a creamy texture. Acid plays a supporting role, and the wine fills out across the mid and back palate. The finish is quite long and more powerful than I expected. Over time, some lemon pith and brine emerged also.
Given my relative inexperience with white burgundy, I won't comment on quality - but we are enjoying it!
Cheers
Allan
