G'day
I posted on one of my favourite bottles of Italian wine in 2019 http://forum.auswine.club/viewtopic.php?t=16334 during a visit to the town. This tasting note is for the standard model, not the Asinone.
Deep crimson / purple in colour, no bricking. Initially shy, the largely savoury nose shows some cherry and plum fruit peeking through. The palate is only just medium-weight, with some tangy red berries over savoury oak. Tannins are present, but fine and only slightly grippy. Reasonable length and the finish is fuller than the front palate.
I'd suggest this has peaked. Drink up.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
