Purchased from the winery in 2016, and largely forgotten about until now. Last bottle.
Purple / black in the glass. Lots of blueberry compote, blackberry, mocha, a little graphite, and only a faint touch of earthiness (I was expecting more), on the nose.
The palate is full and rich, with more of those blue and black berries, and a little tangy raspberry. There's a little texture / mouthfeel, moderate tannic grip and soft acid. Medium to long finish, and in a good place right now. Possibly not likely to improve - but I will probably never find out.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
