Dinner with TORB

Post by Gavin Trott »

For all those interested and game, there's an auswine offline with Ric (TORB) this Friday evening in Adelaide.

To be held at the Sauce in Dulwich, terrific food, very wine friendly.

Please let me know if you'd like to attend (as some of you already have), everyone needs to bring themselves, and a 'significant' bottle or two of wine!

Luv to see you there!
regards

Gavin Trott

Grumble, grumble, grumble. I'm in Adelaide at the time, not far from the Sauce, but I have to be somewhere at 8. Dammit.

I will try to remember to bring my camera along. I still have not published the photos of the Auswine Barossa Festival event last year, must get around to it one day :)

To all thsoe who are having dinner with TORB,

I have had dinner at The Sauce twice when I visited adelaide and highly recommend the place. I wish I could join you people!!!

Have a enjoyable night!

Cheers

PS. I opened a bottle of 1997 Wirra Wirra RSW shiraz last night and it was so disappointing!!!! :( It was so oaky ( American I belive) and no fruit whatsoever. I think they were try to mask alot of faults of wine with oak!
I paid about $40 when it was released!!!!! I would not pay even $10 for it. 2/3 of bottle just down the drain!!!!!!!!!

Attila,

I have my camera with me so no worries, and it can go in the tour diary. It promises to be bigger than Ben Hurr and take longer to write than the bible! About 220 notes, with a day to go, some unbelievable funny quotes and a few pictures of meat pies. :?
Cheers
