Well not really a purchase but a replacement.
1 X 2015 Samuel's Gorge Grenache (to replace corked bottle opened last sat)
They also sent me 2 decent sized Spiegelau red glasses in the box with the bottle.
Good to see customer service still has a heartbeat. :D

Anyone else interested in another Perth offline?

I visited Samuels Gorge and had a great tasting in January (2017) with excellent staff and great service. Yes highly recommended.

6 x Krug MV '164". This is the eagerly anticipated release with 2008 vintage as its base vintage. I would have liked more but one case was all my UK broker could get me initially. Surprise, surprise, the pricing hads gone up quite a bit - GBP 585 in bond.

You were born in '54?

Mate, you don't look a day older than 40.

That's the one, well the label at least, probably not that particular bottle

Level is a little below base of neck, probably reasonable given its age

Wasn't planning on any more buys this month, but the chance to pick up some Musar halves at a tenner a go was too tempting, so half a dozen received today.

Can't say that I've ever seen a Musar half-bottle. Tempting price indeed, what vintage if I may ask?

Hi Mahmoud
2009, though the hefty (and instantly binned) Waitrose drinks list that came with the order said they have halves of the 2006 as well. Not common and only in the red and the Hochar Pere et fils IME, I've seen them online at Waitrose, plus a couple of independent merchants in the north of the county.

Wasn't planning to buy this. Never even heard of the winery before until 15 minutes ago. But after reading a review at The WINEFRONT where this wine was compared to those from the northern slopes of Mt Etna, I placed an order.

A couple of bottles of Aberlour 12 Year Old Double Cask Single Malt Whisky. Ridiculously cheap for the quality and age. Goes well with a Cuban cigar as do all SMW's.

Guilty as charged. I also put through an order for 6 after seeing the MB article. At $45 per bottle is appears excellent value.
