I've heard some good things about this wine, so picked up a bottle.
Pale yellow and bright in the glass. A complex nose, with grapefruit, melon, meal or grain, and a little savoury oak, all a little difficult to separate. The palate is creamy, with supporting but not obvious acid, a little leesy or grippy mouthfeel, and good palate weight. A medium to long finish completes an exemplary chardonnay. Must get some more!
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

Cracking wine this one...and a perfect description. Tightly coiled, and restrained compared to the other GS releases, but with more class. Best in a couple of years, I'd say.
