Oaky buttery Chards...suggestions appreciated

Post by Paul T »

Looking for suggestions for oaky buttery chards (the old school stylee) as i keep being asked for them at work but they are getting harder and harder to find. Any help much appreciated.

We had a thread a while back about this...

We did a Grape Mates Tasting on it too!

Hopefully a fair few of those labels are still around and in a similar style...

Sometimes Paul you can get the Geoff Merrill Reserve chardy from one of the big auction houses (starting with g) for a song. These are big and buttery old style chardys particulary when approaching 7 or 8 years of age.
