Vintec Repairs

Post by George Krashos »

I got one of the Vintec wine fridges that Penfolds promoted a while back. It is labouring and making a funny "compressor struggling" noise.

Anyone in Adelaide able to recommend someone to have a look at repairing it?

If its under warranty let vintec choose the repairer. Otherwise welcome to void warranty town. Make sure it's plugged into a surge protector too. Otherwise more 'warranty void' coming your way. Mine broke down three times before it was replaced . Problem with circuitry. Like a Dalek on acid. The new one purrs like a cat.

Any fridge technician can probably fix it, the compressor may be replaced with any quality compressor and the electronics usually come as a unified unit.
