Hi all,
I'm seeking any input on the the CellarPro 1800XT220V Cooling Unit.
http://www.cellarprocoolingsystems.com/ ... 800XT-220V
After having a Koolspace wine cellar cooler for 10 years, it finally turned up it toes and now rests in landfill somewhere.
I have around 500 bottles in an insulated room.
Has anyone had or heard of these units? The exchange rate makes them more enticing to buy. Ends up being around $1500ish delivered.

Just thought I'd add that if anyone likes this unit, then maybe more orders equal a lower price. And "no" I don't have any relationship with them. Just after a cheaper price.

They are definitely the right price and look to be easy to install. A lot cheaper, and I mean a lot, than anything that can be bought in Australia. Do you have to pay import duty on it as it is over $1000? Plus I guess warranty would be a major problem if anything ever went wrong.
If you had to choose between drinking great wine or winning Lotto, which would you choose - Red or White?

Yes, you do have to pay import duty. As far as warranty goes, most refrigeration could fix any problem. I know from experience with my Koolspace. I wish there was a cheaper option available locally in Oz. I've been down many avenues to try and create a local substitute with high costs the main hurdle. The locally available units seem way overpriced.
