Amazing Australian sparkling- Part 1.

Post by Attila »

It's not often that I make Aussie comparisons to vintage Bollinger Rosé.
The time has come.
Cheer NYE with something local and AMAZING!

2006 JANSZ Premium Vintage Rosé-Tasmania

Wow!
Salmon pink. Meaty Pinot nose. Vigorous bubbles. Very complex, rich palate. Quite amazing balance. Lot's going on. Extemely interesting sparkling, full of flavour and character. Quite possibly, the best Aussie rosé, I ever tasted.
Find it, buy it, celebrate it. (Or at this price, just drink it Tuesday night with a pizza and a big grin :D Amazing!!!!!) 96 points.

Ps: Without the great Gary Walsh (The Wine Front) and Adair Durie (I need a new family car), I wouldn't have known about this.)

Cheers,
Attila
