Current Release of Margan "White Labels"

I had a quick taste yesterday of all the current Margan "White Label" releases with Andrew Margan. I have followed these wines for a few years, and this year was his most impressive line up, so I thought it worth posting separately.

2006 Margan "White Label" "Aged Release" Semillon:
Rich middle. Excellent integrated structure. Bitters with lemonade from the pub. Flinty minerals. 94/100
$34.99

2010 Margan "White Label" Chardonnay:
Rich, smooth but very controlled. Melon, white peach and spice. Very easy but also very classy. 92-3/100
$29.99

2009 Margan "White Label" Barbera:
Medium bodied. Smooth, scented and sweetly spiced. Structurally and texturally very reminiscent of a top Canberra Shiraz, but more savoury spiced and earthy in flavour. 93-4/100
$29.99

2009 Margan "White Label" Shiraz Mourvedre:
Lushly fruited on the front and middle with excellent underlying control but doesn't hold its depth and line on the back. Still of excellent quality. 90-1/100
$29.99

2006 Margan "White Label" "Aged Release" Shiraz:
Awesome layering. Ripe but sensational velvet control. Great length. Fine tannins and acidic line makes it a great food wine, but also a wine to ponder on its own. I hate it when I like the most expensive wine! 95/100.
$64.99

Kind regards,
Adair

Last White Label Shiraz I had was the 2004 - lovely wine but unfortunately (in a sense) mine were drunk young ... were about $40 back then so pretty steep price increase unless there is another 'non-aged' release 07 or 09 around the $40 mark?
