Yep, tried the Unison Selection -- very good, & back to the 'traditional' blend & style.

A Marius Sample pack. With everything going on I have not had time following the offline to get some. So finally managed to get there this week. So 1 each of the 2007 Simpatico, Symposium and Symphony.
Michael was telling us what a nice bloke Roger was at the recent offline. In keeping with his reputation Roger sent his best wishes following the kennards + water= a big mess and was even nice enough to email me asking if he could hold the wines until the current warm daytime temperatures had passed.

At a recent wine tasting in Perth, a friend of mine went halves with me in a case of Silkwood (Pemberton) 2006 Pinot. It spoke of forest and a hint of mushroom, along with strawberry.

I then checked out the website (I have no affiliation with the winery, not having even heard of it before), and then contacted the winery to obtain an up to date list of vintages and prices. A mixed case of Chardonnay (two vintages), SB and Shiraz should now arrive Friday along with the original case of Pinot. The Pinot was the most expensive wine, @ $16 a bottle.

Cheers

I have tried and tried to keep my hands out of my pockets, but some things are too difficult.

Grabbed 3 bottles of the '02 Jacobs Creek cleanskin - discussed at length on GW and CM's site.
also 3 x '04 Paringa Estate Shiraz

Trying to buy less, but higher quality. Now to hide the CC.

Yes, sorry I nabbed the last ones...
However, like I said, if I can't make it to the feb Riesling tasting, I'll make sure to pass it onto someone going...

You've reminded me, last day of the sale. Time to poke around again.
