For some reason I've been finding a small number of Piedmont wines on sale for 30-50% off:

2001 Ascheri, Barolo Sorano "Bricco e Costa"
2004 Gomba Boshetti Barolo
2004 Paolo Coterno Barolo "Ginestra"
2007 Fantino Barbera d'Alba "Vignota"

and a Spanish wine from Priorat:

2006 Torres Salmos

The Barbera is for drinking now but the Barolos for cellaring.

Cheers.....................Mahmoud.

Can I ask where?

All gone ... a major UK retailer (M&S) clearing their last few cases. It was all snapped up in an hour or two.
I have my order confirmed, and my fingers crossed that I actually receive the wine tbh.

Picked up a 63 Quinta do Noval Vintage port and a 71 Grange at reasonable prices. Will be celebrating the 40th of my best friend next year so couldn't resist the Grange.

Also got 12*08 Wynns cab sav with a bonus 6*10 Wahu sav blanc from a major retailer at a very good price (especially with the free sav blanc thrown in which is good for scoffing right about now)

And another bottle of 02 Veuve Cliquot with a rather nice ice bucket thrown in for free. Very happy with that too.

And a couple of bottles of Appleton Estate rum for the summer cocktails.
Cheers,
Kris
