Hi Guys,
My wife and I had dinner at etch a few weeks ago. With the degustation/wine dinner we came across two wines that we really enjoyed but have not been able to source yet. They were the 2004 Ysios Reserva, Tempranillo, Rioja and 2007 Macon, Marcel Couturier, Burgundy.
What tricks do you guys use to track down uncommon wines such as these ? Does anyone know the australian distributor of these, or where we can purchase them.
Tim

You might like to try Wine-searcher, if Gavin doesn't stock them.
Cheers,

My suggestion would be to call the restaurant, ask for their sommelier, and ask them who supplies it.
Contact that supplier, and ask them where else it's available near where you live.
If you are on the ground in Sydney, there are a number of independent retail outlets that I would "go-to" first to try and track these wines down.

Hi.. If I will have to track these wines then first of all I will search them on Internet because now a days each and everything is available on Internet. Then if I find these wines I will search for the locations where these produce. The location may be Australia or some other country but first I will prefer Australia. I will go to the distributors, retailers, Wineries, restaurants, Hotels etc... If I will not get wines there then I will search for he person who have collection of these. If there will be no hope in Australia, I will go to some other countries where these wines use the most. I am sure that if I will put these efforts then one day I will definitely get these wines.
Thanks..
