Shattering News for Kiwi wine fans

Post by SueNZ »

Check out the Special Announcement on http://www.kiwiwinefanclub.co.nz.

Let hope Craig keeps posting here. Don't know what I'd do without my fix of "out of 109" scores.

Craig if you read this can you PM me or email me your new email address (the one I have is bouncing), otherwise I might just have to resort to the telephone.

Agreed, I was researching some NZ wines yesterday and came across that announcement.. Devastating indeed. Hopefully we have the pleasure of Craig around here for quite a while yet, as a Kiwi and Kiwi wine lover, I really enjoy his input.

Any chance you could absorb some of his content onto your site Sue?? Hate to see all those reviews etc go to waste.

Cheers

I'll miss the 109 scale as well, and I also enjoyed reading Craig's notes on Kiwi wines.

I know how Craig feels...I post much less nowadays myself.
Having your own blog is hard work and when no one is paying it's only about passion and after so many years its time for a change.
I believe it's OK that Craig is taking a break for a while. I'm sure he'll be back one day.
It's for Sue to carry the NZ wine torch now...

Craig,
Personally I'm upset. It's such a shame I so enjoy your input. As a fellow enthusiast, good on ya for getting a life!

Thanks for the sentiment guys. You know I will still post plenty of notes/ opinions here. I'm not going teetotal!! Got two half marathons to run in the next 6 months. Training does not help in the desire to drink much, neither does it offer much time to swan around wineries. However I do still get chances. Today is one of those days where a number of good wines should pass my lips

Glad to hear you will still be posting here mate. The NZ input is always refreshing, and intriguing with the 109 score system...
