Ditto. For the record my favourite was the Rockfords Sparkling followed by the 99 Dead Arm followed by the 2005 Chateau Filhot Sauternes.

Enjoyed the night immensely, learnt a lot even how a lady should hold a glass. :D The owner is fabulous and enhanced the night just by being a stereotype...

The 99 707 was not faulty in my opinion but did not show well though, perhaps the service order was a bit askew. And Michael I was not being kind in regards to the Balnaves as I did like it but it was seriously out of place next to the Wendouree, Dead Arm, Bests Bin O and 707.

Has anybody heard from Gerry. We had to do a u turn 5 hundred yards up the road because he forgot to take his show reserve sparkling. I hope he got home ok!

Thanks for a fantastc night. Great notes Michael. For me I really enjoyed the experience to try the Bin 707 and Wendouree (despite the comments from the restuarant owner) The taxi driver managed to get lost on the way home, but we finally made it after I woke up and managed to direct him to the house. Started of the day with a bit of a fuzzy head but soon worked it off with a hard days landscpaing. Thanks once again, looking forward to the next dinner. I reckon a hotel room with Nicki D (wifey) away from the kids will be better value than my taxi ride next go around!!
