Havent had a Condrieu from this guy for a while, but really impressed with this vintage. Nice lifted aromas of peach fruit, just getting into the apricot spectrum (alarm bells ringing, I hate over the top apricot in Viognier but no cause for panic here) amd a little ginger.. Some faint hints of MLF. Great mid palate weight-lovely dense fruit sweetness; again, it's peachy heading into apricot. some glycerol as well (yeast derived?) appears to be bone dry in terms of RS, and no complaints about that either. No obvious oak characters on either nose or palate, again this is good, but I dont know much about the production of this wine-any one with more info? Overall- A really good example of the worlds sexiest white grape variety.
Just sitting back now, waiting to be howled down.....
