why?
No specific reason other than I very much like wines from New Zealand and Australia. These bottles I bought in an auction as one lot together with some nice Australian wines. I have not had yet this one but I am wondering how it tastes. Any idea?

Not a jibe re the choice just seemed a random buy
I would have tried this - cant specifically remember it. Although 97 was a below avg Hawkes Bay vintage Sacred Hills first offerings were quite dense and ripe in comparison to other makers at the time. They could be ok actually though I wouldnt keep them any longer. The earth wont move though

I have recently realised my cellar is heavily stacked with Shiraz. Trying to rectify that...

Nice mini-vertical selection dazza! GW obviously loves the 06, 95pts. Enjoy! Getting up in price for me these days though at $50. Still, for a wine of such apparent quality and low quantity from what seem to be iconic vines, I'd stretch my non-existent budget for a couple of bottles.
Cheers
