I'm a Stonewaller, but never been to lunch. Any ideas on how far you can or need to book ahead? Perhaps I should be asking Rockford this question.

Excellent answer.

I often find that talking to myself provides the best answers.

Been to a couple of Stonewall lunches, both absolutely outstanding.
Selection of half doz aged wines, top quality fresh produce, best value in the country bar none.

Was there a couple of weeks back, enquired as to re-booking - Friday lunches booked out till end of year, still a few spots for the Thursdays in various weeks

If you can get yourself invited to one of these, do it!

I find it hard to believe that there's both so many stonewallers and that they can be all be available in the Barossa on Thursdays and Fridays so far in advance. I'm thinking some peole must do it a lot while many other members never have.

Hmm, I'd be interested to know how many stonewallers there are and where they all come from actually.

I've never done the lunch as it's booked out so far in advance and I can't plan that far in advance due to the nature of my work. Maybe I should just ring up and see when the next one's available on a thursday and just jump a plane and go.
Cheers,
Kris
