Finally, after much fussing, the tree and gifts are finally sorted.
Wifey and I now turn our thoughts to Christmas drinks.
We are looking to have a "white christmas" this year.
What's on the radar for you guys???

In Edmonton we will, literally, have a White Christmas! Snow is already on the ground.
I'm probably going to my aunt's place on Christmas Day and that means turkey, the blandest fowl of any kind. We'll probably take a sparkling shiraz (maybe the '97 Black Queen) and the '96 Fetzer California Pinot Noir.
Of course there will be other occasions to open bottles during the Christmas season. Haven't decided those yet.
Cheers..........Mahmoud

No specific thoughts as yet, my planning not having got beyond "lots". But being from England and still not being used to sunshine and warmth at Xmas, I'll probably concentrate my drinking on warming reds, thinking nostalgic thoughts of cold overcast skies, leafless trees and darkness at 3:30 in the afternoon.
And I really don't "get" sparkling shiraz, so I'll probably give that a swerve too.

A Pol Roger 96 Winston Churchill, Rockies Black, a 96 Rockfords BP and I suspect a couple of Burgs. I'm also hearing wind of a Hill of Grace from the father-in-law which sounds promising. Should be a good Christmas.
Cheers
