1998 GREENOCK CREEK ROENNFELDT RD CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Post by Enzot »

Hi everyone in OZ

As my family know I love my wine I was given a bottle of the 1998 Greenock Creek R.R Cab Sauvignon as a gift.I realise this wine had some good reviews in the U.S.A but I'd love an Australian view on this .

Thanks

I was at the CD a week or so ago, and there was an American guy who said it was drinking superbly based on a bottle he had in August. Not quite an Aussie view, but at least he gave it in Oz...

Nice gift. It's not exactly cheap or easy to come by. Also a very good vintage. I've got a few bottles of this myself but haven't opened any yet. Possibly getting close to the time to try one but I might just give it a few more years yet.
Cheers,
Kris
