TN: 1991 Wendouree Cabernet Malbec
TN: 1991 Wendouree Cabernet Malbec
Dark purple with a nose of rich chocolate, black fruits and something savory. On opening it was quite closed but after some airtime we got predominant licorice and chocolate flavours with big, agressive tannins and a great length. I am finding that I am favouring the Cab/Malbec blend to the straight Wendouree shiraz.
Cheers

I agree, the last two Wendourees I've had have been the Cab Malbec blend and both have been wonderful.
