Have any of you tried or heard any good things about the 2006 Alana Estate Pinots which are about to be released?

Popov,
2006 is looking quite sensational in Martinborough. There have been some beaut wines from the vintage - much needed too. For the size of the region, I'd say Martinborough/ Wairarapa is the pick of the pinot noir regions for 2006. Sorry, know nothing about the Alana wines, however.

yeah the 2006 Ata Rangi is pretty smart and Escarpement just released a pile of sv wines that are supposed to be pretty tidy
