I will try. Most of the older stuff I was able to buy at a live auction and some of the other wines over the internet on a platform similar to Ebay.

Cheers

Some fine wines there, but also a fine variety of styles. Nice work with the credit card!

I'm guessing you meant Poliziano Vino nobile di Montepulciano, not Montepulciano D'Abruzzo. Bloody Italians confusing grapes and regions

Ian, you are right, my mistake. But the Italians do sometimes have a bit confusing labels, I agree.

Cheers.

Redwine, you make me feel very responsible, so thank you. Love to hear about the La Landonne, the Dow's, the Ceparello, the Pingus and the Roda when you open them. Nice mix of wines.
Paul.

Davo seems to regard it highly too - now I'm tempted to try one very soon rather than sometime later.

Also have high expections of the Forest Hill quartet of Block Series after much enjoying perhaps almost a case of their base level cab merl 04 and a couple of bottles of entry-level riesling. It comprises 3 each of riesling, chardonnay, cab sauv and shiraz which, coincidentally, are my favourite, staple varieties.

Cheers
