Want to buy a winery and vineyard?

Post by Red Bigot »

Foggo Wines in McLarenVale and Killerby in WA are both on the market.

Both family-owned/run establishments, must be an opportunity there for someone to make a go of one or other of these before a big company buys them up for the vineyards.

From this I gather you've finished posting as Chuckles for now?

On a serious note I'm rather shocked Foggo has the for sale sign out, although I have to admit I haven't heard much from them lately. Has anyone heard any whispers why?

Cheers,
Ian

Luke, I've heard $2.1 million being asked for Foggo, $3.0 m. even with the girl thrown in. ;-)

Considering a move from Clare to McLaren Vale?

I spoke to a McLaren Vale winemaker this week and he told me Foggo's was for sale and he was interested.

PM me if you need to know.

Good fruit from that Foggo vineyard (although dreadful oak treatment currently).

I don't like the site at all, doesn't say quality wines to me at all.

Maybe that's why it's been quiet on the telemarketing front from Killerby of late!

Im hardly a bastion of morality, but I think its actually not a bad little site. One shot of a cute girl in a vineyard hardly equals soft core pornography.....if you truly believe so I would suggest your collection needs updating :D
