LATEST Cellaring Information
Hi Wine Enthusiasts!
It is so great to see so many like minded people on this site!
A bit about me!
I own a winery in beautiful Margaret River, I have 5 cellars all over australia so when the mood stikes to open up a pinot noir from burgundy I have my wine at my fingertips.
I am currently doing my wine masters course and I am happy to answer any questions you may have from cellaring to wine accessories to buying or selling wine!
Until then!

I have a few questions...
What's your name?
What's a wine masters course? Is it the same as the MW? If so then you are hardly alone amongst members of the forum.
Why the arrogant first post? Maybe you should establish yourself here first before wading in to say how great a resource you are.
The same social conventions for everyday conversations also hold true in fora...
Regards,
Nayan

Hi wine enthusiasts,
It's so great to see so many like minded people on this site.
Of course, being so illustrious, I find it easy to dispense with the whole 'Hey, getting to know you part'. My illustriousness shines though (btw, I have an astro-physical cosmological proof, that God exists), and that he has blessed my gravelly vineyard.
About me! I own a beautiful vineyard located in van diemens land. Update your maps peoples. I have 72 cellars located around australia, and i know the truth to the da vinci code. One is located under ayre's rock, and what does it contain? - Some good wines. Burgundies. DRC's. The pentateutch inside an inverted pyramid. stuff like that. But I know the history of the universe - blood of christ, san greal, sangria - it's a fruity elixer punch made from red wine you fools. Next time you make it use some expensive wine (or cheap stuff, christ doesn't care, he was a carpenter).
I feel that you should all know this, and it's heavy. Brace yourselves for it. ... I can't hold the secret any longer... Ah. My peoples, I am doing a Masters in Wine. I am the Moses of Merlot. I am a Caliphate for Cabernets. I am the Barnabas of Nebbiolo (at 1000BC, barnabus actually rhymed with nebbiolo. It was coptic). So there!
I am partaking in the greatest wine masters course (at Holmesglen TAFE), and I want you to ask me questions beyond your incapability, logic and illiteracy. E.G - deep questions such as why is some wine red and some wine white. I know you don't have the answers, but I do, because I did a Masters of Wine.
I won't even bother signing off, I'll just throw out some obscure thing like 'Until then!'. I'll see what that achieves. Probably nothing. Maybe something.
And when i open up a wine i have my fine wine at my fingertips, always. By definition of my cellar being full of fine wine.

Do you know Serge? That was quite an entertaining read. I feel as such you should expect to get a lot of abuse from boring people here

No! let's ask AJ the questions. In his current "alter-ego" state the answers are sure to be more amusing!
Cheers,
Mark

I joined this forum just as Serge was expelled. I believe you stuck up for him, If I remember correctly. I respect that.
I'm happy to maintain my alter ego to answer silly questions, bring them on. After all, I am Jeremy "jancis" Halliday Jr.
Craig, which did you mean ?
abuse from boring the people here
or
abuse from the boring people here
hmmm, actually both could apply, no need to be too narrow
I guess you haven't posted anything "entertaining" lately then, you haven't copped any abuse for a long time.

Nope. I just stuck up for the right to free speech and the odd bit of forgiveness, live and let live

So you stood up for the right to free speech, but not for the person who was freely speaking? Are you perhaps ideological
