TN 2006 Over The Shoulder Pinot Noir

Post by John #11 »

Yarra Valley fruit, from Oakridge Vineyards in Coldstream. Bordering the Great Dividing Range. Still a few valleys left for enterprising entrepreneurs!

Great qpr at under $20
Juicy raspberries, dark cherries, lovely spicey earthy flavours, great balance with subdued oak, fine tannins and just enough crisp acidity. Lovely perfume. Close your eyes and you would think 'Old World Pinot'
Elegant and Excellent

Screwcap
13.5% Alcohol
$18-20

Dunno about 'Old World Pinot' but agree on the QPR.
