When is Wine Australia 2007???

A while since my last post due to suffering from a collapsed lung while in the States ... so spent 4 weeks in New York, as I couldn't fly home ... no wine drunk for quite some time :cry:

. ... anyway enough of that, my question is does anyone have timings for the Wine Australia show this year by city???

I seem to remember it was around the July time last year?? I am personally interested in the Sydney timings

When I Googled "wine australia 2007 sydney" the first link comes up with "32nd World Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress" ... don't think that's it! :shock:

Sydney Morning Herald this morning in Good Living said it was no more. Had done what it was meant to do.

I never got to it and will probably always associate it with the worst 'flu I've had which stopped me going to the first one - then it went to Melbourne, then I moved to Canberra

As DJ said, the SMH said today it was no more - finito - kaput.

Shame as I always had a ball and thought it was a great event.

Yep, finito. I'll never forget my 1st one many, many years ago. I ended up in Moore Park..prostrate and drunk on the grass with my then girlfriend. Last time a I wore a white casual shirt too..all wine stained ( a la "doing a Cam"). :twisted:

Only daylight woke us up - the following day! :shock:

I remember that one too but I usually only go to the showgrounds to attend large dance parties so it was sort of weird being there in the daylight and everyone not being completely trollied. Obviously I was wrong!

Try the Good Food and Wine Show though. Obviously not as many wineries, but still a few. Is on in Melbourne & Sydney next month
