04 389 is the bomb

04 and 02 407 suck. cabernet my ass! ive had chocolate milkshakes that are closer to cabernet than most 407s

havent tried the 28 from 04 yet so wont make judgement there, though the 02 I had last week and it was sensational, a hard act to follow

I didnt mind the 04 Bin 407- but still didnt buy it.

The 04 389 was the first I've bought since 98. Didnt think a lot of the 02.

2004.
Your ass must look a lot like cabernet Craig. The 2004 407 is particularly varietal.

My ass is way to hairy and sweaty to be described as cabernet!

To me it was full of chocolate (the 407 that is, not my ass), blackberry, liquer cherries and it was a bit of a mish mash. I tried it next to the 128 and really didnt see a lot of difference! The 04 389 is far superior.

My favorite 407 is the 94, dont think there has been a better once since, though the 98 wasnt too bad. I find most 407s very forced and crow barred into shape including the 02.

No doubt I will get another chance to try it, last time I have to admit I was almost half cut (was a work function), but tried to do due diligence on it all the same.

The 04 389 was the first I've bought since 98. Didnt think a lot of the 02.

Ditto

Hmmm...I wonder if that also applies to the St Henri. Will the 2004 be better / more complex / drinkable than the 2002 which got great raps from JO?
